Grant Wood AEA Assistance for E-Rate
Grant Wood AEA provides E-Rate support for AEA 10 schools and districts. For the 2007-2008 year, an E-Rate Help Desk will be established specifically for AEA 10 schools and districts. It will be managed by Ed Gambs. He is available November 1 through February 29 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM each school day for all E-Rate questions and help with applications, filing forms on-line, and other E-Rate issues. Training on E-Rate issues will be held at Grant Wood AEA in the Conference Center in Cedar Rapids (6th Street facility) on October 29, 2007 from 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Specific training for completing your 470 forms on-line will be included that day. On December 10, 2007, specific training on completing the 471 forms on-line will be offered. Follow-up training will be scheduled as necessary.
Technology Integration Consultants (Kathleen Goslinga and Kay Rewerts) have been assigned to assist schools and districts to incorporate technology into the classroom. Additional resources will be assigned as necessary.
