Science Inquiry Institute

This 2-4 year collaborative learning opportunity focuses on implementing inquiry into the science classroom. Districts send K-12 teacher teams or individual teachers to learning sessions throughout the year to study the inquiry research base, learn inquiry-based instruction, and implement the strategy in their classrooms. The institute follows the Iowa Professional Development Model. Content is aligned with district student learning goals in science.
GWAEA science curriculum consultants will conduct the institute, and provide ongoing technical assistance and support to participants.
