Teaching for Mathematics Understanding

This is an opportunity to build a professional learning community with an emphasis on understanding the rationale for changes in mathematics. Schools who participate will develop a K-5 Lead Learning Math Team that will engage in sessions throughout the school year. The content will include assessment, problem solving, computation strategies, basic facts, number sense, multiple representations, manipulative materials, use of calculators, and communication.
