Adapted Physical Education is Great Physical Education

Curricular and consultative support is available for physical education teachers who work with students with disabilities. Physical education must be available for every student with a disability.

Adapted Physical Education:

Works with all ages, 2-21 years of age

Works with all populations

Utilizes a variety of equipment adapted to meet the needs of students

Works across settings (regular physical education, adapted physical education, off-site, recreational)
