Late Fees
There is a $1.00 a day fine per item for late videos, laserdiscs, DVDs and professional nonprint items. Items must be returned on the due date by 4:15 to avoid a late charge. Schools are billed on a monthly basis.

Ordering and Confirmations

Materials may be ordered one of three ways:

Internet – Visit our electronic catalog at: http://medianet.aea10.k12.ia.us
Browse our complete online catalog and order directly from any of the screens. The online catalog is updated weekly and available 24 hours a day.

Customer Service – Speak with one of our Customer Associates to order materials. 1-800-642-4107 or (319) 399-6754.

Paper Orders – Please provide the title number for each item you wish to order. Reservable items will be scheduled for the requested date, or if indicated, the first available date. Requests for non-reservable items can be submitted for preferred dates. IF available on that date, items will be sent. Classroom materials and Professional books that are not available will be placed on Hold and sent on the first available date.

(Reservable items include student video, laserdiscs, nonprint, multiples sets, boxed book sets, DVD, professional nonprint materials, guided reading, assistive technology and sensory stimulation. These items may be scheduled for specific dates. Non-reservable items include student books (individual titles), professional books and classroom materials. Materials from these areas are available on a checkout basis).

Confirmations

Electronic confirmations are sent for every transaction on a daily basis.

Next day delivery

Materials ordered via the internet will be delivered the next day IF it is a van delivery day.
Reservable items ordered through 12:00 midnight and confirmed for next day will be delivered to you via van on the confirmed date.
Non-reservable items will be sent on the van the next day (depending on availability) if ordered BEFORE 4:00 P.M.

Extensions and Cancellations

Extensions – Requests for extensions may be made electronically by going to the Options Menu located on the first page of the Online Catalog. You will need your six-digit client code and password to log in to access the screen that will allow you to send an e-mail asking for an extension. Once you have requested an extension, you will need to check your confirmation electronically or view your bookings online to make sure the item has been extended.

Cancellations – Items may be cancelled directly online using the cancellation function also located on the Options Menu or by calling Customer Service at 1-800-642-4107 or (319) 399-6754.
