Van delivery is provided to Area 10 schools twice a week during the school year. Once a week delivery during the summer is made to one building in each district and non-public high schools. Cedar Rapids schools receive daily delivery.
Things that affect delivery to your school:
- If one of the buildings in your district is going to be closed and all other buildings are open on a delivery day, items due back from the closed building will need to be taken to another drop spot. If the van driver cannot get in and arrangements have not been made, materials not returned on time will be billed as late.
- When a district is closed for weather reasons, or during holiday or spring break, deliveries are usually not made. Changes in a district calendar are made only at the request of the superintendent or their representative.
- Mail must be addressed correctly to ensure correct delivery. Please remember to include the name of the individual; building; district and route number.
- Inservice dates are treated as regular van delivery dates.
