Any Iowa teacher is welcome to participate. This year, the focus will be on helping teachers address their earth and space science standards either as stand alone earth classes or with units in existing science classes. The other primary objective is to help Iowa's teachers develop confidence and credits (2) toward earth science knowledge and endorsements.

Applications are due before Feb. 8, 2018. There are only 18 openings available. The cost for 2 UNI graduate credits is $200. Everything else (housing, parking, food) is paid for by a generous donation from the Iowa Limestone Producers Association.

Content will be delivered through four on-line sessions and a 4-day field trip of Iowa's Geologic Resources, July 9-12, 2018. For information, visit the following link.
