Mindfulness 101: Changing Your Relationship with Stress
This class will be based on the format of The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Program developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts. MBSR is designed to teach people how to take better care of themselves and participate fully in improving their mental and physical health, as well as the quality of their lives. Many professionals participate as a way to care for themselves and to enhance their skills in caring for and responding to others. Several forms of formal meditation will be taught and practiced throughout the course.
Participants will need access to a computer or tablet to complete online content and practice activities.
