This two-day workshop will guide you through the process to create a quality set of assessments (pre-, post-, and quick progress checks) for a unit of study. These sessions will include quick progress checks to assess student understanding of learning progressions, selected-response questions, short constructed-response questions, extended-response questions and development of scoring guides.
Larry Ainsworth draws on over 20 years of experience as an upper elementary and middle school classroom teacher in demographically diverse schools. He brings a wide range of professional experience to help school systems implement best practices related to standards, assessment, and accountability across all grades and content areas. Larry is the author or coauthor of numerous published books, including: “Common Formative Assessments 2.0” (2015).
