In this class, local students with autism come to our GWAEA site, and participants help design/accommodate tasks to match the needs of the learner. NEW THIS YEAR… this class includes a coaching component for teachers after attending this class.

Do you have bright students who struggle with perspective-taking? Are you trying to figure out students who are academically on-target, but are socially struggling, get ‘stuck’, and might have black-and-white or rigid thinking patterns? This class will cover a multitude of strategies to help change student perspective-taking and help students see the perspectives of others - which leads to better self-regulation and social performance.

New this year! These are free Zoom-based webinar sessions with your GWAEA autism team members that can be viewed live or accessed on-demand via recording. In each 30-minute session, you will learn a few strategies for various challenges related to learners with ASD or others with diverse thinking styles.
