The Five Dimensions (5D) of Teaching and Learning: An Overview to the Instructional Framework

Excellent teaching is the key to student learning. An instructional framework is an essential element in defining what excellent teaching looks like within your system. Through this learning opportunity, participants will receive an overview of the components of the 5 Dimensions of Teaching & Learning instructional framework created by the Center for Educational Leadership. Outcomes for the session include:

  • Build an understanding around the purpose of using an instructional framework.
  • Provide participants with a deeper understanding around the dimension of purpose.
  • Provide participants with an overview of the dimensions of the 5 Dimensions and the 13 Sub-dimensions of Teaching and Learning.
