Participants will learn the history, theoretical basis, and structure of Critical Incident Stress Management including individual and group interventions. The course will focus on providing Critical Incident Stress Management in the school setting. Participants will practice intervention strategies through observation and role play. 

NOTE: This course is a prerequisite to future courses offered by the GWAEA CISM Team related to school crisis response.
