This two-day course will provide participants an understanding of what dyslexia is and matching assessment and instruction to this learner profile.

Participants will learn how to:
• use assessment to determine instructional needs
• identify and practice instructional strategies that promote and accelerate
reading and writing development for students with this learner profile
• engage in dialogue about dyslexia with colleagues, school teams, and parents.

NOTE: All participants, including those registering as “Participant Only” should plan to complete all of the work required (attendance, participation and assignments) to receive the full benefit of the training and a certificate of completion.
