FOSS Webinars

The Grant Wood AEA VAST Center and The Eastern Iowa Science Collaborative are excited to partner with FOSS and the Lawrence Hall of Science to provide an opportunity to support teaching FOSS Full Option Science System -- Webinar Sessions Literacy Strategies, Sense-Making, Formative Assessment, Next Step StrategiesFOSS remotely. Eileen Patrick will be hosting interactive webinars focusing on teaching FOSS efficiently and successfully. This four-part series will focus on literacy, sense-making, formative assessment, and what to do with that formative assessment. 

Those who are interested in one or more of these one-hour interactive opportunities should fill out this survey.  Feel free to share this survey with others who would be interested. Once you have filled out the survey you will receive a link to participate in the webinar.

Meet the Presenter:
Eileen Patrick is a retired classroom teacher, having taught in a large urban district north of Denver for over 20 years. She taught FOSS to her own students for many years and also supported her colleagues with their science instruction. About 10 years ago, Eileen became a part-time FOSS science consultant, training teachers in FOSS pedagogy and modules around the country. She now divides her time between being a FOSS consultant and working half-time for the Lawrence Hall of Science, where FOSS is developed
