The Grant Wood AEA VAST Center and The Eastern Iowa Science Collaborative are excited to partner with FOSS and the Lawrence Hall of Science to provide an opportunity to support teaching FOSS remotely. Eileen Patrick will be hosting interactive webinars focusing on teaching FOSS efficiently and successfully. This four-part series will focus on literacy, sense-making, formative assessment, and what to do with that formative assessment.

Meet the Presenter:
Eileen Patrick is a retired classroom teacher, having taught in a large urban district north of Denver for over 20 years. She taught FOSS to her own students for many years and also supported her colleagues with their science instruction. About 10 years ago, Eileen became a part-time FOSS science consultant, training teachers in FOSS pedagogy and modules around the country. She now divides her time between being a FOSS consultant and working half-time for the Lawrence Hall of Science, where FOSS is developed
