Emergent and Conventional Math Strategies for Significant Disabilities and Complex Learners

This course is designed to build foundational content and knowledge in mathematical strategies for students with significant cognitive delays and complex learning needs. Participants will learn how  Emergent and Conventional Math Strategies for Significant Disabilities and Complex Learners.pngto make instructional choices that impact students, while making connections to the Iowa Core Standards and Essential Elements. In addition, participants will connect procedures used in mathematics to conceptual understanding and learn how to assess skills levels for a wide range of learner needs.
