Making and Tinkering at Home Children learning STEM activites at a table

Would you like to share ideas for making and tinkering with your children? Join the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) for a free webinar, "Making and Tinkering at Home and School" on Thursday, April 23, from  2-3 p.m. CDT.

What is making and tinkering? Teaching and learning about STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) use everyday materials to design and build solutions to problems.

Cate Heroman, author of "Making and Tinkering with STEM," and Lianna Kali, project director for The Tinkering Studio in San Francisco's Exploratorium, will examine tinkering with light & shadow play, and balls, ramps, and chain reactions.

Register with NAEYC for this free webinar.

The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is a professional organization that promotes high-quality early learning for all young children, birth through age 8, by connecting early childhood practice, policy, and research.
