Family Guides: Supporting Learning in 2020-21

If there is anything that the past 8 months have taught us, it is that the COVID-19 pandemic has blurred the lines of responsibility for the education of children. Now more than ever, families and Family Guides: Supporting Learning in 2020-21schools have had to act together in the best interest of their students, and parents/caregivers have stepped up their game when it comes to advocating for their child’s education.

Student Achievement Partners and Seek Common Ground created Family Guides to support your student's learning in the 2020-21 school year. The purpose of these guides is to help parents learn more about what children should know and be able to do, grade by grade, in math and literacy. It is difficult for most parents to know where their child should be academically, but this resource can help reinforce learning with fun activities, as well as pointers for using the same language as their teachers.

*Please note: Grades 6-12 guides in English and Spanish are coming soon! Check here for updates!
