New Professional Learning Platform Coming September 1st
What You Need to Know
- Sessions completed on or before August 31 will remain in escWorks.
- Sessions ending after August 31 will be completed through AEA Learning Online.
- Course and record migration has been completed for courses with registration end dates after August 31.
- Instructors can complete attendance, grades, and close courses in escWorks through the end of September.

What This Means for GWAEA
- At Grant Wood AEA, Carie Finnegan will continue to assist with local room reservations at GWAEA for professional learning offerings held at GWAEA locations.
- Our Professional Learning Office now houses the GWAEA Data Team (formerly known as IMS-Information Management System). We no longer maintain an office space dedicated to professional learning.
- Emily Birkbeck does not support professional learning at all at GWAEA moving forward. She is no longer in the administrative assistant role in Professional Learning as she currently serves in the role of Executive Administrative Assistant now with new roles and responsibilities.
- Carie Finnegan provides support to Professional Learning by making room reservations (locally) at GWAEA for any courses/PD offerings offered at one of our GWAEA locations.
- All PD correspondence about course proposals; course approvals; communication between course instructors; registration; AEA Learning Online questions and/or issues; billing; and all other professional development questions or concerns will be handled by AEA Learning Online at Heartland AEA.
