New Leadership Standards & Networking

Principal and Leadership Learning Opportunities

An educational leader is responsible for the collective success of their district and/or schools, including the learning, growth, and achievement of both students and staff. Grant Wood AEA has several opportunities available to support school district leaders during the upcoming academic year.

Additional Professional Learning For LEA Principals

Upcoming professional learning opportunities are available for the 2021-22 school year. Principals are invited to join a cohort with other PreK-grade 12 administrators and build capacity as an instructional leader to develop and successfully implement a MTSS framework to support all students. Evaluator approval and recertification credits are available.

Principal Networking Virtual Sessions

These informal, monthly sessions will provide area principals and assistant principals in the Grant Wood AEA service area with an opportunity to virtually network and share ideas. Topics are determined by the session participants to provide all K-12 school principals an opportunity to share timely and relevant feedback with peers that directly connects to the context of their work.

No registration is required. Invitations will be emailed by Grant Wood AEA.
For more information please contact Director of Teaching and Learning John Zimmerman.
