In this course, participants will read the book “Sharing Books, Talking Science.” Teachers will engage in learning around the crosscutting concepts of the Iowa Science Standards (NGSS) and apply them through think-aloud strategies. This will help teachers make connections between science and literacy standards.
Participants are expected to fully participate and attend in order to successfully complete this professional learning opportunity. Participants are responsible for purchasing the required book “Sharing Books Talking Science” which is available for purchase on Amazon. ($26.25 plus taxes/shipping)
