Making Meaning of Mentoring

Join other teacher mentors for this new take on a book study! Participants will gain skills, tools, and understanding of how to maximize their impact as mentors. Learners in this course will be engaged in learning new content, reflecting, and planning for practice using the book Mentoring Matters: A Practical Guide to Learning-Focused Relationships as a guide. This course is intended to help build a community of learners who thrive to support, challenge and build on one another’s professional visions.

Face-to-face instruction will be October 25th from 8:30-3:30 with an hour for lunch. Participants will be given their books at check-in. A follow up Zoom meeting will be held on November 16, 2023 from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. This time will be used for the group to reflect and build on new learning and problems of practice.
