This course will provide participants an understanding of what dyslexia is and matching assessment and instruction to this learner profile. Participants will learn how to use assessment to determine instructional needs, identify and practice instructional strategies that promote and accelerate reading and writing development for students with this learner profile, and how to engage in dialogue about dyslexia with colleagues, school teams, and parents.
NOTE: All participants, including those registering as “Participant Only,” should plan to complete all of the work required (attendance, participation and assignments) to receive the full benefit of the training and a certificate of completion.
