Leaders and teachers who understand the role of feedback in schools and classrooms understand the power of providing teachers and students with information about:

  • how they are doing
  • where they are going, and
  • how they are going to get there

The principles and practicalities of feedback will be covered in this workshop, including:

  • the variability of feedback
  • the importance of surface, deep and transfer contexts
  • student to teacher feedback
  • peer to peer feedback
  • the power of within lesson feedback and manageable post-lesson feedback

This professional learning will highlight what creates an effective feedback culture and provides the teaching and learning structures, which provide the best possible framework for feedback.
