Guest Author: Jennifer Black Reinhardt
Jennifer is the illustrator of several books for children including; "Sometimes You Fly", a picture book written by Newbery award winner Katherine Applegate, "Blue Ethel," which she wrote and illustrated, "Yaks Yak," by Newbery award winning author, Linda Sue Park, "The Inventor’s Secret; What Thomas Edison Told Henry Ford," by Suzanne Slade, "Rabbi Benjamin’s Buttons," by Alice B. McGinty, and "The Adventures of a South Pole Pig" by Chris Kurtz."Gondra’s Treasure," a picture book about a little dragon who’s Mom is a Western dragon, and Dad is an Eastern Dragon, written by Linda Sue Park, will be released in April. Watch for "Playing Possum," written and illustrated by Jennifer to be published in 2020.

Grant Wood AEA is pleased to offer the Young Writers’ Conference for 4th and 5th grade students. Accompanied by a teacher from their school, students will attend an author session, two workshop sessions, and a sharing session where students will share samples of their own writing.

Fee:
$12 per student
