Computer Science Education Week is celebrated the first week of December to help promote computer science amongst students, parents, communities and organizations

In 2018, Grant Wood AEA celebrated CS Ed Week by asking what students "What will you create?", highlighting the creativity found in computer science. We organized Hour of Code activities by the computer science standard grade bands (K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12). These are still great resources to use if you're planning an activity for your classroom or for a specific grade level in your building.
