In this predominantly asynchronous course, participants will learn about the design and implementation steps to launch blended practices in the classroom with a focus on identifying best practices in science teaching instructional experiences. Participants will take a deep dive to explore the science and engineering practices and the crosscutting concepts and how we can use them in a blended classroom environment. By better understanding these components of the science standards in practice of a blended environment, teachers will gain strategies and tools to support and meet the needs of all learners.
This is a hybrid course. The first meeting will be one hour synchronous on Zoom.
The rest of the learning will be asynchronous.
